The Lantic Empire was one of the great empires of the Mortal Realms. It was known for its technological advancement[1] and for being protected by the Gilded Steamgird.[2] During the Age of Chaos, it was destroyed by the forces of Chaos over a century.[1] The Lofnir lodge of the Fyreslayers made oaths with Chaos Lord Magorak to aid in the destruction, supplying a horde of Magmadroths to destroy the Gilded Steamgird.[2] The Flesh-eater Courts moved in after the destruction of the Lantic Empire and many Lantic warriors were turned into mordants.[3]
